Paid a visit to Macy’s at the Fort Lauderdale Galleria Mall this morning to scout out details for tomorrows launch of the oh so anticipated Karl Lagerfeld collection. The scoop is that this limited edition collection will be placed on the 3rd floor main hallway right near the top of the escalator. I got a sneak peek of one of the pieces – a deep grey wool blend dress with exaggerated front pockets and military influenced shoulders. Could totally picture styling it with black tights and booties for a perfect fall business look.

Impressed by the 21 page ad of Missoni for Target in the Vogue September 2011 issue. I mean, that’s pretty serious! From Sept 13 – Oct 22 (or at least until supplies last) Missoni will have an approximately 400 piece collection at Target. Some select products will be available longer, but it will all depend on availability. When personal shopping for clients, Missoni is a favorite for many reasons. Comfort, style, so iconic. Definitely curious to see what Margherita Missoni has in store for us with this. Seems they’ve really captured the essence of the brand and used many of the classic prints. My one hope – that they factored quality into the pieces as well. Only time will tell.

Very happy to see first signs of FNO in Boca!

It was an absolutely gorgeous afternoon on Worth Ave. As well as meeting up with friends for the “Glam Party”, I took the opportunity to scout out possible shoot locations for next weeks photo shoot. Saw several great options!

Was supposed to be in NYC this weekend but due to weather complications my flight didn’t work out as planned. Talk about a major bummer! Well, I turned my frown upside down and joined in on a “Glam Party” at Laura Mercier Neiman Marcus Palm Beach one of my dear friends was hosting. Perfect move! There were tons of amazing products but my fav was the Crème de Pistache Soufflé Body Crème. It feels like silk with such a nice soft scent. Really quite lovely…and spending time with gf’s is ALWAYS the best.

Always looking for a cute comfortable run around shoe. Picked these Sperry boat shoes up a couple of months ago at Bloomingdales Boca Raton. Been perfect for summer and A+ on comfort. They make getting around town so much easier.

Some late night “reading” with the Louis Vuitton Le Catalogue Maroquinerie. A 279 page catalog that features nearly all of the classic leather goods they make. What a great reference tool especially for me as I love the tangibility of it compared to the web. Reading up on the history of LV along the way is my favorite part as each new chapter begins with a brief bio on the collection.

For some reason this unexpected combo is making me really happy today.

Having these pretty little things to look at makes doing office work so much easier. They smell amazing too…another plus.
