Loved stopping in the Oscar De La Renta FNO party. I was in love with these Oscar De La Renta umbrellas. I found out that they are made from the left over fabric scraps. That’s why they are so varied in color & print. Someone’s trash is someone else’s treasure? I think so!

Bal Harbour Shops for FNO 2011 had tons of fashion action with lux treats around every corner. From lipstick portraits at Neiman Marcus (yes I had one done), roulette & ice cream at Saks Fifth Ave, dj’s & live music, passed champagne & bite size delicate desserts, it was easy to get caught up in all the fab fashion on display.

Spent FNO (aka Fashion Night Out) at Bal Harbour Shops and had too much FUN. Walked around with one of my best girls, bumped into friends and visited my favorite boutiques. So yes lot’s of friends, fashion & fun.
Have to admit, it was so nice being there and not personal shopping. Well I did do a tiny bit of personal shopping but 1 pair of Christian Louboutins doesn’t really count in my book.
At Saks Fifth Avenue Oliver Peoples was doing a cool little interactive experience with their new sunglasses. Here I’m wearing “J Gold”. A fun fact I found out from their regional merchandiser who was in town for the event is that these frames were named after a guy who works for Oliver Peoples — J Gold is his nickname.

Recharged the personal styling battery and spent Labor Day weekend at the lush Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa. It was so nice lounging by the pool, ordering room service,…you know all the fab things resorts have to offer. This photo was taken on our jumbo sized wrap around balcony from our room of the Turtle Point Suite. To sum it up, the weekend was paradise.
Here I’m wearing an American Apparel long spaghetti tank dress as a bikini cover up. It was so soft and perfect to walk around the property in. I’ve also got on my Gucci cat eye sunglasses and Cartier Love bracelet.

While personal shopping for a client, I had a random red carpet moment at Bal Harbor Shops…& in my new Karl Lagerfeld dress.
Today’s the day! Karl Lagerfeld’s (aka current head designer and creative director of the fashion house CHANEL) limited edition collection for Macy’s hit stores. I went bright and early today to check it out. Left with a couple good pieces…and thankfully not at CHANEL prices this time.
