Bold colors are hot this season but the color in the spotlight is yellow. It’s everywhere this Spring! I often have clients during style consultations tell me that yellow is a “hard color to pull off” but after a personal shopping appointment with LIVE-COUTURE their tunes nearly always change. Christian Louboutin signed hundreds of his coveted pieces for customers and took pride in each & everyone one of his autographs. Sharpie was his autograph weapon of choice with his “c louboutin” mostly signed in black with splashes of color highlighting certain letters. It was inspiring to see a man with that level of professional success putting such care in the details. ♥ and admire that.

Christian Louboutin was at Bal Harbour Shops Saks Fifth Ave celebrating his 20th Anniversary with his capsule collection of shoes and bags. Along with signing the soles of his shoes for customers who purchased that day he also signed a few of his bags. This was my favorite piece he signed!

While at Bal Harbour shopping for a client I visited one of my favorite boutiques, Miu Miu! What caught my eye on this visit were all of the reversible sequin bags sprinkled around the store. What’s so fantastic about these bags is that they can give just the right splash of playful glamour to an outfit. This bag next to any little black dress – - very hot.

FASHION: Doggie Fashion Show

The 2011 Pattern for PAWS luncheon, which raised funds for the Humane Society of Broward County at the DCOTA center was so fun. Guests who attended put on their posh luncheon best (you know I love that) and supported a great cause. Tons of lux silent auction items. On a personal note, I’m so excited to work with the winner of the LIVE-COUTURE package that was up for auction. Of course a couple tiny puppies were available for adoption and some found new loving homes. Thank goodness!

FASHION: Anthropologie Pet Adoption ♥ (Oct. 15)

When shopping in Anthropologie at the Boca Town Center earlier this week (omg I got the cutest dress for a client) I noticed that they are having a pet adoption + supply drive event on Saturday October 15th from noon – 4pm. If you are thinking of adding a four legged friend to your family stop by that day and hopefully you’ll make a furry love connection.

I’m constantly being asked by friends if I’ve spotted any great designer look alike pieces when I’m personal shopping for my clients. Here is one that is in stores right now. Though it’s the small details that really make “Splurge” designer pieces special, depending on when you plan to use the piece could determine if you should go for the “Steal” alternative. I can totally envision dressing a client in this shoe for a resort weekend getaway with a great flowy short caftan. Could also be cute with shorts and a t-shirt for a fun Saturday beach bar hopping look.
